VACANCY: QUALITY OFFICER
AREA: ROODEPOORT; GAUTENGOur client, who specializes in Renewable Energy, Transmission and Distribution Lines, Substation and Switching Stations as well as Railway Solutions has an open vacancy for a Quality Officer.Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company ISO9001 (QMS) requirements on projects whilst also performing various necessary quality process control related duties, ensuring quality (product/service) conformance to specifications, designs, and customer requirements. Must provide advice and implement quality assurance (QA) and -control (QC) measures as well as performing administrative activities such as examining and completing all relevant QA and QC documentation.Requirements:
xc2xb7 2-year tertiary education, diploma technical/technical trade qualification
xc2xb7 Experience and knowledge/certificate in quality assurance, -control, -management, ISO9001 and Internal Audit
xc2xb7 Experience overhead lines/sub-stations, renewable energy and/or overhead track equipment construction
xc2xb7 Computer literacy
xc2xb7 Valid drivers license and medically fit
xc2xb7 3-5 years experience in quality control/-assurance/-management role
xc2xb7 2-3 years practical experience within a construction environment (SHEQ)The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager.
