Job Description


Main job function

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
  • Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Assisting in establishing a clientxe2x80x99s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Performing risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Advising on legal, contractual, and commercial issues.
  • Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
  • Allocating work to subcontractors.
  • Providing advice on contractual claims.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders within the construction industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field.
  • Minimum of 6-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the consulting industry.
  • Ideal candidate will be professionally registered.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and quantity surveying software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
