Job Description

Hire Resolve is actively seeking a qualified and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team within the construction industry. This opportunity involves engaging on exciting projects while ensuring financial control and adherence to quality standards.As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring that financial requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects.
• Analyze and evaluate contractor and supplier tenders.
• Monitor project expenses and track financial performance for budget compliance.
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.
• Assist with contract documentation and negotiation efforts.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on financial goals.
• Manage payments and final accounts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., WinQS, CostX).
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
