Job SummaryExciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor is available in Orania.Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to submit their application via the link provided.Minimum requirements:

• BSc Quantity Surveying
• 2 - 3 years' relevant industry experience in a building construction environment
• Computer literate: MS Office and Quantity Surveying software
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents
• Measurement of Building Quantities: Accurately measure building quantities for bill preparation and final accounts
• Drafting Bills of Quantities: Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities to detail materials, labor, and other project costs
• Site Visits and Measurements: Conduct regular site visits and measurements to ensure accuracy in project assessments and valuations
• Preparing Valuations: Compile valuations for the issue of interim payment certificates, assessing completed work for payment certification
• Assisting with Cost Management: Support in the cost management of construction projects, monitoring expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints
• Final Accounts: Prepare and conclude final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements

Remuneration:Candidate QS - R23 000.00 - R25 000.00 + Airtime + Travel compensationIMPORTANT:
