Job Description

Our Client, based in the Paarden Eiland area, specialises in various medium to large steel projects that require additional hours to be worked. This is an added advantage to increase your income potential with overtime.Standard work hours are 7:00 xe2x80x93 15:00 and project hours will be longer and compensated for. Projects range from between 40 and 90 days.POSITION INFO:REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, Minimum of a Diploma in one of the following:
• Building Estimating
• Quantity Surveying
• Construction Procurement
• Construction
• Engineering (Mechanical, Structural or Civil)
• Construction Supervision/Management
• Engineering Estimation
• Minimum 3 years in the Construction/

Industry * Competency in Software:

• MS Office 2013 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) - Required
• WinQS xe2x80x93 advantageous, not a requirement
• DimX xe2x80x93 advantageous, not a requirement
• SAP - advantageous, not a requirement
• Experience with accounting software (SAP, Pastel, Sage, etc.) - advantageous, not a requirement
• Estimating software- advantageous, not a requirement
• Adobe- advantageous, not a requirement
• Attention to detail
• Deadline-driven
• Willingness to learn and build on existing experience
• Normal Working Hours: 07:00 xe2x80x93 15:00 (approx. 90 days per year)
• Project Specific Working Hours: 07:00 xe2x80x93 19:00 including weekends and public holidays (projects range from 40 to 90 days) x 3 per year

DUTIES

• Assist in Final Account verification (check

quotations against contract rates) * Set up enquiry BOQ's from a scope of work

• Adjudication of tenders
• Prepare Contract BOQ's
• Administer Contract Variation Orders
• Manage enquiries for tender purposes
• Conduct site measures
• Process interim payments
• Prepare engineering estimates
• Perform cost reporting
