Role Purpose




The purpose of the Rainmaker Accountant role is to manage and oversee the financial activities of Rainmaker. This includes ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. Key responsibilities encompass budgeting, financial reporting, debtor, and cash management, and assessing financial trends to support strategic decision-making.


Role Description



Responsible for the monthly preparation and processing of intergroup transactions. Monthly completion of intercompany schedules for Group Consolidation purposes. Ensure the effective and timeous production of monthly management accounts for the Rainmaker management team. Ensure continuous improvement of reporting to ensure that management has timeous, accurate and value-adding information to assist in decision-making. Monthly profitability analysis per channel and investigating anomalies with the team leads. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements at year end and assisting with audit queries. Ensure effective cost management and analysis of financial information. Review & complete monthly P&L and monitor variances to budget. Cash and debtor management. Report writing - Monthly submission to group executives, providing insights into Rainmaker's financial performance and assisting Rainmaker management team with preparation of divisional meeting information. Assisting sales and insights team with client spend analysis. Assist with vendor onboarding process.

Qualifications and Experience



Accounting diploma or degree - (essential). +2 years' experience in relevant role. SAP experience - (essential).
