Job Description
Purpose:
To operate the 45-ton reach stacker safely and efficiently for the loading, unloading, stacking, and transport of containers and heavy goods within the terminal or warehouse facility. This role requires precision handling to ensure the stability and security of goods while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. The Reach Stacker Driver is responsible for conducting daily equipment checks, following all safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely movement of goods in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Efficient operation of a Container Forklift (Reach stacker) Conduct pre-start checks on equipment. Load and unload trucks with containers. Re-arrange containers as necessary. Stacking containers up to 5 high.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 10 Reach Stacker license is required (To be valid and included with CV) 2 years' experience as an Reach Stacker Operator Must be physically fit Must be willing to work shifts Have own transport or able to use public transport
