Job Description


:The Real Estate Manager supports priesthood leaders by providing Meetinghouses, and other facilities for their use to help bring souls unto CHRIST. The position is responsible, for successful completion of Annual Plan targets; implementation of all approved real estate processes; the management of related real estate activities; assessment, training and leadership development of real estate staff.Responsibilities:

  • The Real Estate Manager is responsible to oversee the development and implementation of real estate processes, providing training and appraising performance of staff
  • Participate in the development of real estate annual plan projects
  • Utilize best practice real estate services, and develop strategic initiatives for the division
  • Work with and manage staff to timely provide property services.
  • Develop and implement training and operational reviews to ensure that processes, tools and services are provided within the metric measures of customer satisfaction, cost, quality and timeliness.
  • Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on key performance indicators
  • Source, negotiate service level agreements, and build relationships with real estate professionals
  • Manages the purchase, sale and rental of properties in the Area as per the approved annual plan
  • Ensure that all meetinghouse acquisitions comply with local government regulations
  • Periodically evaluate and monitor performance for on boarded professionals
Qualifications:
  • Must have strong commitment to the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and possess a current temple recommend and/or be worthy of one
  • Degree (MBA and/or graduate degree preferred) in Business, Finance, Law, Real Estate or related field
  • Proven ability to direct and perform real estate analysis, negotiations, and closing
  • +7 years' relevant experience
  • Possess leadership and the ability to manage teams and real estate operations
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate to all stakeholders as appropriate
  • Develop detailed business process and operating policy and negotiate complex agreements and relationships
  • Ability to be agile and influence change
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel
