Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover). The successful candidate will be responsible for handling reception duties, managing courier / waybills, and providing ad hoc support to other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, take on new responsibilities, and work collaboratively with others. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer and transfer phone calls to appropriate departments or individuals Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier and waybills Maintain a tidy and organized reception area Provide administrative support to other departments (Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) Assist with filing, data entry, and other ad hoc administrative tasks as required Order and maintain office supplies and equipment Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative support role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Hands-on, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance and demeanor Accessible to Fourways with own vehicle Must be available from 23rd Aug to 2nd December 2024Performer Recruitment and ConsultingRecruiter
