REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGERFinanceJob PurposeThe purpose of this role is to enable achievement of regional performance targets through managing and overseeing all financial activities required for proactive, effective and efficient P&L management and to do so in adherence to operational and financial framework of practices, processes, standards and controls.Key Accountabilities and OutputsManage Regional Financial Processes

• Manage and integrate regional Budgeting and Financial Planning processes
• Manage the regional General Ledger
• P&L Management
• Income statements

Regional Risk and Compliance

• Ensure that all regional financial activities and transactions happens in accordance with the relevant Financial Framework of practices, processes, procedures, standards and controls
• Oversee regional Stock Cycle Counts and actively monitor and report on Shrinkage and Stock Losses
• Conduct monthly reconciliations

Financial Enablement and Control

• Actively participate in regional financial and operational planning and budgeting processes
• Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and systems
• Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls

Qualifications and Experience

• CA(SA) with minimum 3 Years experience (Operational Execution)
• SAP
• Microsoft Office
• QlikView

Communication

• High level written proposals or presentations to the board or key external stakeholders on the strategic direction of the overall business

Problem Solving

• Proactive identification of interconnected functional problems, determine impact, patterns and trends, identify best fit alternatives, best practice solutions and anticipate future problems. The role will rely on influence and facts to promote effective problem solving of others.

• Groups of individuals at a senior management level inside the organisation
