In this vital role, you'll oversee all BPO units across the vibrant and diverse South African region. As the Regional Head of RSA, you will report directly to the Executive Head of Operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership and Performance Excellence

  • Drive business units to exceed performance expectations, embedding a high-performance culture.
  • Lead strategic planning and implementation to enhance productivity and customer service.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Operational Management and Oversight
  • Direct key metrics management, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective reporting.
  • Collaborate with the executive team for operational excellence and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure fiscal discipline.
Team Development and Human Resources
  • Lead and develop the team, focusing on performance improvement and succession planning.
  • Manage all aspects of human resources, including staff welfare, engagement, and policy enforcement.
  • Commit to continuous personal and professional development, both for self and team.
Effective Communication and Reporting
  • Maintain open and effective communication within the team, encouraging customer-focused feedback.
  • Manage and present operational metrics across various timeframes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Leadership and Strategy
  • Proven strategic leadership and performance management skills in a business process outsourcing environment.
  • Experience in leading change, developing teams, and succession planning.
Analytical and Operational Expertise
  • Advanced analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of operational management, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
Communication and Relationship Management
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept in stakeholder engagement and team motivation.
  • Proficient in managing diverse internal and external relationships.
Technical and Regulatory Proficiency
  • High computer literacy, especially in MS Excel, Word, and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and risk management in a business process outsourcing context.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and innovative skills.
  • Cultural awareness, particularly in the South African context.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within business process outsourcing, with a focus on the South African region.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in expanding existing client relationships and winning new business opportunities.
  • Experience in implementing best practices to enhance operational performance.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Bachelors or masters degree in business administration, Management, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Experience within the Insurance industry advantageous.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
  • Basic Salary: Market-related.

WORKING HOUR
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday- 8am to 5pm
  • Tuesday are Marathon Days - 8am to 8pm
  • Friday - 8am to 3:30pm
  • You will be required to work 1 Saturday per month - 8am to 1:30pm
