Essence of the job:Our client is currently seeking a Regional HR Manager who will be responsible to translate the people strategy into practical steps for execution in the region. Must act as a trusted advisor and make strategic and functional contributions to the region and key client groups.Qualification:Honours Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.SABPP.Minimum Requirements:10-12 years relevant experience, of which 5 years were in a middle HR management position.Pension/Provident Fund regulations.Understanding of Civil Engineering and Building Bargaining Councils.Thorough knowledge, understanding and application of Human Resources best practices.Display up to date, in depth knowledge of HR practices as well as company policies, processes and systems as well as extensive understanding of business and the company's operations.Extensive knowledge of the labour related legislation and its applications.Extensive labour relations experience, with industrial action and strike management.Remuneration practices.Experience in dealing with Unions / Councils, etc.Computer literacy (MS Office).Sage 300 People.Presentation and Facilitation skill.Change Management Skills.Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.Analytical skills.
