About the RoleLocationSouth AfricaGautengMidrandCompanySiemens Energy (Pty) LtdOrganizationRegional HubsBusiness UnitAfricaFull / Part timeFull-timeExperience LevelExperienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayWorking closely with the Regional HR Services Manager responsible for Africa region, you will be responsible for delivering local HR administrative tasks within your scope, mostly related to tasks not provided by an external provider. You will be interfacing with colleagues from within your region/s, and you will be responsible for supporting the ownership of operations performance of HR Services, ensuring, and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes along with end-to-end delivery. You may take a role in HR transformation initiatives within your region, reviewing and implementing harmonized and standard processes, working closely with counterparts in Payroll, local HR, HR systems and with external vendors/stakeholders. Additionally, you will be working closely with Local HRBPs ensuring an excellent operational delivery of diverse HR administrative tasks and be the initial contact for escalations (Local HRBP, GBS, other HR COCs & country team assistants).How you'll make an Impact:

  • A "Regional HR Services Specialist" works alongside the Regional HR Services Manager, ensuring efficient and effective HR Services delivery through an eco-system of providers i.e., employee life cycle support, employee inquires, people and organizational data management, etc.
  • Responsible for the operational delivery of HR administrative tasks not provided externally.
  • Welcoming newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
  • Support of other HR IT / Business Process initiatives, e.g. contributing regional or topic expertise and aspects, playing a key role in the roll-out in assigned countries.
  • Work closely and support in the service management of the business process outsourcing service providers, ensuring quality gates, whilst playing a key role on deficiency resolution.
  • Ensuring new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware/software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed.
  • Auditing data and setting up employee profiles in internal HR systems.
  • Aligning new employees with managers and their team and communicating involvement procedures to all stakeholders.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and making recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with all processes and always maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • A contributor in our global HR transformation project, whilst ensuring continuing of existing operations.
  • Coordinate off-boarding experience, track and oversee the exit interview, and checking-in the end of service benefits & end-to-end regional separations processing.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on human resources or psychology or humanities.
  • Professional experience in HR Services / Business Processes including Shared Services / HR BPO outsourcing operations, i.e. HR Administration, Payroll etc.
  • Previous experience in supporting Employee Life Cycle team desirable.
  • Exposure to HR transformation and understanding of the HR operating models.
  • Experience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders in a plus.
  • Proven experience of managing or being involved in process improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent (verbal & written) in both the Portuguese and English language.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Analytical skills and fact-based decision ability, self-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize.
  • Outstanding communication skills with native and international customers.
  • Self-motivated to drive initiatives through to completion as an individual contributor and through others, and ability to thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
  • Understanding of basic HR tools viz - Workday HCM, ServiceNow, SAP HCM etc. desirable.
