Implement offshore strategies and prepare cost reviews and forecasts for the South African risk team.
Provide regular updates to senior management on office progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, IT, finance, HR, and facilities.
Ensure systems and processes are optimized for efficiency and accuracy.
Oversee the smooth operation of the local desk and create a KPI reporting dashboard.
Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing team members.
Manage team structure optimization, including headcount projections and recruitment coordination.
Qualifications:
Relevant Bachelors Degree.
At least 15 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in finance, banking, or risk management.
Competencies:
Strong leadership skills with emotional intelligence.
Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, committed, and highly motivated with strong analytical skills.
