We are looking to recruit a Regional Manager to look after our Western Cape Region. The role will be based in the Sorbet Offices in Sea Point and will report to Operations Manager.
Job description
The Regional Manager acts as a Franchise Representative by implementing and maintaining all aspects of the Franchise System within the area through a team of Area Managers:To recommend and drive regional business opportunities resulting in Sales and Operating Profit growth, while reinforcing the brands competitive edge.
Manage a team of Area Managers with regards to call cycles, QAR reporting, Hygiene Reporting and Financial Management.
Ensure that all Franchise Policies and Procedures are maintained throughout his/her region.
Set regular Business Management meetings with Franchise Partners.
Work across Support Office Departments to ensure support of Franchise Partners.
Monthly Feedback to EXCO on regional performance, growth opportunities and critical stores.
Participate in Activity meetings with new franchisees and oversee all operational logistics with the franchisee when opening new stores including internal and training requirements
Mentor and train area managers on all operational aspects of the Franchise Model.
Assist new franchisees and high care stores with talk shows and on-site training where required.
Set annual financial budgets for the region.
Manage implementation of budgets with Area Managers in the region.
Analyse store performance monthly reporting back to EXCO.
Ensure turnover growth and opening of new stores in his/her region
Along with Area Managers and Marketing Team ensure implementation of all national marketing and advertising campaigns.
To support and deliver the regions retention strategy so as to sustain the staffing needs of the business with specific reference to scarce and critical skills and ensure consistent business performance.
To drive and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures aligned to corporate governance.
