Join Novo Nordisk as Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) and get a life-changing career!The PositionsAs a RMA, you will be Contribute actively to building and maintaining scientific understanding of NN marketed products in Diabetes by sharing up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data with internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging scientific and clinical expertise to create relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and other healthcare decisions makers.Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Scientific support for marketed products and development projects within therapeutic areas guided by business needs.
  • Productive relationships with key stakeholders and relevant institutions/organizations to achieve competitive advantage and market leadership within therapeutic areas. Acting as a scientific ambassador for Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the profile of the company remains high amongst key stakeholders through establishing a peer-to-peer relationship based on scientific rigor and integrity.
  • Training and educational activities for clinicians and other HCPs working and supporting and training for sales teams.
  • Delivery of scientific information to HCPs, Drug Formulary Committees, and Expert Groups. Specific medical project leadership and responsibility. Plan and align HCP and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement planning with the brand event calendar. Medico-marketing support for product campaign development & implementation.
  • Driving and organizing advisory boards, HCP interactions and other KOL engagements. Developing and presenting scientific information to external audiences - HCPs, KOLs etc.
Moreover, you will be contributing to the generation of new data relevant to the product/portfolio assigned; and identifying and critically evaluating new data and using the data for effective communication purposes. You will foresee and proactively address potential scientific challenges and ensure that external communications conform to regulatory laws and directions.QualificationsYou hold Min. bachelor's degree in natural sciences, healthcare, or an advanced degree in health sciences. Medical degree or pharma degree is most preferred. As well as you will have, excellent command of both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background. Having proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous. Moreover, you have:
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical experience in Medical Affairs. Previous experience in diabetes or metabolic disease area preferred, however willingness to learn and progress in diabetes therapy area most important.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills can provide recommendations despite uncertainty and pressure and are able to handle and simplify complexity while focusing on the bigger picture.
  • You are a team player, but at the same time possess independent drive, and have a can-do mindset. Good at translating medical/scientific insights to business opportunities/implications.
  • Proven success in strong leadership and interpersonal skills and a structured and transparent way of working. Ability to manage complex tasks/processes and organizational issues.
  • Experience and willingness to work in an international matrix organization. Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
