Job Description
Introduction:To create and execute Regional Procurement strategies through effective negotiations around costs and selling price and ensure market related product offerings in line with the National Procurement strategyDescription:1. Create and execute procurement activity within the region2. Liaise with Category Managers and Product Specialists3. Supplier Negotiations4. Maintain Stakeholder relationships5. Facilitate listing process of Regional Suppliers6. Assist Marketing7. Product Training8. Manage Store Stock levels9. Ensure Stock File Integrity10. Manage Procurement Procedures11. Market Intelligence gathering assess / ensure business competitiveness12. Plan, co-ordinate and execute regional promotions13. To uphold and promote the company values and cultureRequirements:1.Grade 12(essential)2.Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF6) ideally with a Retail/Procurement focus (desirable)3.Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position in a computerised retail environment (essential)4.Experience gained at a middle management level (essential)
