Regional Manager - Sales & Business Development - based in South Africa for an international Sanitaryware manufacturer and distributorSPECIFICATION CONSULTANTAs the Regional Manager you will form part of an international manufacturers specifications team reporting to the Southern Africa GM.The company is a global specialist in toilet and sanitary ware offering comprehensive solutions for use in commercial, industrial and residential markets.As the Specifications Consultant you will be responsible to maximize specification performance, inline with company objectives and strategy, working as part of the regional team to driveproduct proposition to develop customer satisfaction.AREA: JOHANNESBURGTASKS:As the Specifications Manager you will be responsible for the following:xefx82xb7 Focusing on the development of project pipelines in the SA region sectorxefx82xb7 To be supportive of the commercial sector development opportunities as a part of thespecification team, diverting strategically projects specified to Architects, Project Houses, Developers Building organisations Wholesaler partners for procurement, delivering sales revenue and project managing with the economical chain after specification to ensure smooth procurement of products.xefx82xb7 Responsible for profitable development of a project case by case.xefx82xb7 To work across the supply chain, internal and external, engaging specifiers and influencers topromote system solutions.xefx82xb7 Ensure follow through from specification to order stages, to be in line with KPIs.xefx82xb7 Strong focus on project management, building sustainable relationships to maximise marketadvantage ensuring KPIs regarding key product focusses are met.xefx82xb7 Focusing on the development of project pipelines in the region.xefx82xb7 To be supportive of the commercial sector development opportunities as a part of thespecification teamxefx82xb7 Deliver sales revenue for the region, following the Project Sales Activity approach.xefx82xb7 To work across the supply chain, internal and external, engaging specifiers and influencers topromote system solutionsxefx82xb7 To be driven by performance KPIs by ensuring specification offering includes productsolutions by means of written proposals, expertise and advice on advantages of the comprehensive product range. Communicating the entire value proposition to Engineer, Architect, Contractor and Developers on a project.xefx82xb7 Proactively identifying new opportunities for enhanced specifications, uncovering andunderstanding these through application of trained techniques, supply chain knowledge,commercial awareness and in depth knowledge of customers businesses.xefx82xb7 Contribution and achievement of local demand forecast in line with regional KPI.xefx82xb7 Assist and /or give presentations to the Regional team as necessary and to customer basethe CPD portfolio with focus on specifiers.xefx82xb7 Collaborate with regional and technical support team members to develop technical skills.xefx82xb7 Successful management of CRM Project leads through specifiers where applicable.xefx82xb7 Working with other team members to develop their technical skills.xefx82xb7 Adherence to strict ethical codes of conduct and maintenance of confidentiality at all times.xefx82xb7 Adherence to Company reporting procedure/commercial admin systems, offeringappropriate feedback and information.xefx82xb7 Responsibility for safety aspects within area of responsibility whilst attending site meetings.xefx82xb7 Provide timeous input into management reports as and when required to ManagementIdeally you will possess the following:xefx82xb7 Degree, Diploma or relevant industry qualification in construction/building disciplines ispreferred or minimum 4 years equivalent industry experience.xefx82xb7 Matriculation, including English and Mathsxefx82xb7 Good working knowledge of software packages e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.xefx82xb7 Successful promotion of solutions /specifications,xefx82xb7 Engineering perspective with ability to identify innovative solutions through a solidcommercial approach.xefx82xb7 Ability to interpret technical designs/drawings.xefx82xb7 Knowledge of construction process stages and ability to identify opportunities to improveefficiency within a customers construction programme.Benefits:A negotiable salary (R1.2m) depending on skills, experience and qualifications
