Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy in alignment with the national sales goals and objectives.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze sales performance data and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Dealer Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers within the region, ensuring they are supported in achieving their sales targets.
  • Conduct regular visits to dealerships to assess performance, provide training, and address any challenges.
  • Oversee dealer network expansion and optimization, ensuring coverage in key markets and alignment with Mahindraxe2x80x99s brand standards.
  • Work closely with dealers to develop and execute local marketing and promotional activities.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales excellence.
  • Set clear performance goals for the sales team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless after-sales support and service delivery.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and control expenses within the region, ensuring alignment with the companyxe2x80x99s financial goals.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management, including sales forecasts, budget variance analysis, and profitability assessments.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales management role within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in dealer network management and customer relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of the regional automotive market, including key players, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
