Regional Sales Manager

Our client in the Logistics industry is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager, in Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

Requirements:

3-year Sales and Marketing related qualification at NQF level 5.
Must have at least 5 years working experience in sales in the Logistics industry of which at least 2 were in a management capacity.
Previous Sales Management experience in a service-related field.
Knowledge of servicing and marketing principles and practice, international trade principles and practice.
Experience in external business environment.
Experience in company service charge rates.
Knowledge of tariff calculation concepts, company terms of payment.
Experience in Client Relationship Management.
Knowledge of carrier and depot conditions of trade, national currencies, and international codes.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Business opportunism.
Presentation and negotiation skills, client/service orientated, situation analysis and problem-solving skills.
Judgment and decision making, creative and innovative thinking.
Action and result orientated.
