A well-established organization in Johannesburg is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their team.   • Technical Experience (Refrigeration) will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Export logistics processes.
  • Management Experience will be an advantage
  • Sales Experience - minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Physical ability to handle stock
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Wholesale or Retail environment
  • Experience of sales and Logistics in Africa an advantage.
  • Compulsory: Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent
  • In-house Training - Module 3
  • Valid Driver's License
Area of Responsibilities:
  • Daily management of branches in line with company Policies and Procedure and Management expectations.
  • Ensure all employees receive induction training in all branches. It is of utmost importance to offer all employees training in line within his/her scope of work.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of the SEC and know their function within the company.
  • Ensure we always work to create a happy working area for all employees. Healthy morale and atmosphere
has always been part of the company's success. * Weekly reporting on branches activities, customer meetings, order book understanding.
  • Monthly reporting of all branch KPI's, in accordance with set Export Templates.
  • Preparation on weekly reporting into GM, as per templates provided, measuring the monthly tracking on all
branch parameters (Sales / GP / orderbook / Stock + General) to drive the success of the branches in your
region. * Review Regional Manager meeting with General Manager and Operations Manager at the end of every quarter(Scheduled meeting dates needs to be uploaded and updated on SharePoint Manager Portal Calendar)
o Quarter 1: January to March
o Quarter 2: April to June
o Quarter 3: July to September
o Quarter 4: October to December * Arrange and Coordinate two Regional Meetings annually. (Scheduled meeting dates needs to be uploadedand updated on SharePoint Manager Portal Calendar). * Sales Person customer allocations must be up to date on Syspro at all time.
  • Ensure that all employee changes are expediently and correctly communicated to HR and management.
  • Control leave requests and ensure leave schedules are used to prevent under-resourced branches at all times.
  • Arrange and Coordinate Customer Regional Events (Example: Customer Evenings) after receiving
communicated dates from General/Operations Manager (Scheduled meeting dates needs to be uploaded and
updated on SharePoint Manager Portal Calendar) * Drive employee development and education.
  • Ensure that market information is gathered and consolidated.
  • Assist the marketing department to gather all information to compile advertorials and editorials on interesting
company project installations (Monthly Newsletter and Marketing) * Be actively involved with inventory and availability within the region. Ensure all employees understand howthe Top-up Report works. * Call at least ten different Customers per month to monitor branch performances. Customer InteractionFeedback Report to be used as reference and uploaded onto SharePoint. * Regular analyzing of Regional and Branch sales, margin and volume activities - (Sales Growth Report)Identified underperforming areas must be addressed with region and individual branch. This area must be
listed and monitored until fixed. * Regular Monitoring of External Sales Activity - Syspro, SharePoint.o SharePoint Engineering - Quote Enquiry Report.
o SharePoint Customer List. * SharePoint Customer Interactive Feedback.
  • SharePoint Account Customers.
o Regular Monitoring of Internal Sales Activity - Syspro, SharePoint. * Syspro Sales Analysis Query.
  • SharePoint Internal Sales Monitoring:
o Ensure every Branch Manager Monthly report is completed in full and loaded onto SharePoint.
Regional managers are expected to work through these reports and deal with critical issues. Also,
to communicate this critical issues with the Operations and General Manager where required.
o Ensure all Branch Managers forward the monthly Branch Sales Order Allocation reports for approval
after they cancelled outstanding sales order allocations. Final reports to be evaluated, approved and
filed. * Stock Re-distribution report will be updated on S: Drive - Operations on a Quarterly basis.
  • Regional Manager to action the following:
o Keep stock items for the next quarterly period and ask for branch sales focus.
o Request branch to transfer stock to another branch or DC.
o Drive reduction in Excess Stock management together with BM.
o Instruct branch to do a Job Card for unusable or damaged product. * Monitor and coordinate regional orders on local suppliers to ensure branches do not over stock.
  • Arrange and Coordinate Branch Stock Take (Scheduled meeting date's needs to be uploaded and updated
