Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Sales Strategy & Execution :

Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the retail and hardware sectors in Johannesburg. Drive revenue growth and ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.



Team Leadership :

Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and improve sales performance.



Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and customers in the region.



Market Analysis :

Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and identify new growth opportunities.



Sales Reporting & Forecasting :

Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management, ensuring that key metrics are being met and exceeded.



Training & Development :

Identify training needs for the team and provide guidance to improve their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.



Product Knowledge :

Stay up to date on all product offerings, ensuring that the team is well-versed in the products we sell and able to effectively demonstrate their value to customers.



Operational Support :

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations, timely product delivery, and high-quality customer service.



Requirements



Experience :

Proven track record of at least 5+ years in sales management, preferably within the retail and hardware sectors.



Skills :

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage a sales team effectively.



Education :

A relevant sales or business degree/diploma. Industry-specific certifications or training will be an advantage.



Knowledge :

Deep understanding of the retail and hardware market dynamics in Johannesburg.



Technical Proficiency :

Proficient in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.



Travel :

Willingness to travel within the Johannesburg region as required.



Valid Driver's License :

Essential.
