Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in South Africa. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in B2B technology sales, team leadership, and market expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and executing high-impact sales strategies, mentoring a team of sales professionals, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
Identify, prospect, and engage with senior decision-makers across industries such as retail, transportation, healthcare, and corporate enterprises.
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business success.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Develop and present high-impact sales proposals, pitches, and solutions tailored to client needs.
Negotiate high-value contracts and agreements, ensuring profitable and sustainable partnerships.
Provide regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of
8+ years
of experience in B2B technology sales, with at least
3+ years in a leadership role
.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to exceed targets in a competitive environment.
Strong network and industry connections within retail, transportation, real estate, or smart city sectors.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in driving strategic sales initiatives and entering new markets.
Ability to work independently, manage complex sales cycles, and execute high-level business strategies.
Willingness to travel within South Africa as required.
