Are you in the market for a contract nursing opportunity at a dynamic and well-established agency? MHR is currently recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) / Professional Nurses (PN) with THEATRE SCRUB experience. This is a 3-month - 4- month contract opportunity at a private healthcare facility in BETHLEHEM in the Free State.BENEFITS INCLUDE:

Requirements

• Valid SANC licence
• At least 6 months to 1 year work experience as a Theatre Scrub Nurse is essential
• An additional qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science/Diploma in Critical Care Nursing will be advantageous
• A good understanding and application of the nursing scope of practice
• Knowledge of clinical procedures, relevant nursing legislation, the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles
• Sound knowledge and application of relevant Theatre and CSSD policies and procedures
• Management of surgical equipment and instruments
• Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
• Risk Management

Key Outputs

• Executes duties and responsibilities according to scope of practice
• Theatre/Endoscopy duties and responsibilities
• Delivers quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety
