Are you a skilled and passionate nurse looking for an exciting opportunity in the operating theatre? Look no further! A prestigious private hospital in the Eastern Cape is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join their dynamic Theatre team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Post Basic qualification in Theatre Nursing.
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Proven experience in theatre nursing.
- Training in relevant surgical disciplines preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team as needed.
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare. professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
