The primary focus of the role will be in relation to middle-office services but also including regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering and internal audit to an established portfolio of clients in Malta.Job SpecificationThe selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Cash and portfolio reconciliations;
• Maintenance of independent monitoring systems;
• Independent calculation and documentation of NAV;
• Undertaking technical research and interpreting new regulations which could impact clients whilst keeping abreast of regulatory developments;
• Participating in regulatory compliance and AML monitoring;
• Assisting in the drafting of client reports including compliance, anti-money laundering and internal audit reports;
• Supporting the compliance, anti-money laundering and internal audit function for regulated clients.

Skills RequiredCandidates should:

• be in possession of a University Degree;
• hold experience in financial services;
• be knowledgeable in the applicable laws and regulations;
• be goal driven and show initiative to work without continuous supervision;
• be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst keeping an eye on detail;
• possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• possess good organisational skills and be capable of working in a team;
• possess good time management skills.
