At the end of this 24-month programme you will have a strong career foundation to build a remarkable career.Key responsibilities

  • Participates in the final check out of new installations with respect to process safety and equipment reliability.
  • Value-added preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.
  • Providing mechanical technical support to the site engineering teams within the region for both mechanical rotating equipment and mechanical fixed assets.
  • Ensure that any work carried out is in compliance with Haleon Global EHS & Engineering Standards, Haleon Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory/statutory requirements.
  • Conduct all work activities on accordance with the Environment Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy QD-POL-000823.
  • Participate in OE Projects.
  • Identifies opportunities for ongoing improvements.
  • Constantly striving for performance improvements (How can this be done better)
  • Challenging the status quo/accepted ways of doing things.
Qualifications and skillsRequired
  • N6 in Mechanical/Chemical or Electrical Engineering
Preferred
  • B.Sc./B-Tech in Mechanical/Chemical or Electrical Engineering
Other Skills/Qualifications
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
