Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading Energy consulting firm seeking Renewable Energy Engineers specializing in either Wind or Solar energy for a position based in Johannesburg.As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will have a crucial role in advancing our client's energy consulting team's growth and development. Your primary emphasis will be on electrical engineering, offering opportunities to engage in business development, project management, and other areas.Responsibilities

• Design and optimize renewable energy systems, either in wind or solar.
• Conduct site assessments to determine project feasibility.
• Perform technical analysis and calculations to determine system performance and energy production.
• Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in renewable energy, particularly in solar and/or wind sectors
• Knowledge of the South African energy sector is a plus
