Our client is seeking 2 dedicated professionals to manage large-scale projects within the renewable sector across South Africa.These Project Managers will oversee each phase of a project from planning to execution, including both wheeling and captive projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting all required standards.Requirements:xc2xb7 Minimum 6 years in a managerial role in construction/EPC projectsxc2xb7 Previous experience in PV Power Plant Project Management.xc2xb7 Experience in Wheeling Projects and Utility Approval Processesxc2xb7 Experience in Captive Energy and Wheeling Projectsxc2xb7 Experience in Utility Approval ProcessResponsibilities:xc2xb7 SUPPORT THE PROJECT INITIATION PHASESupport the Business Development team during commercial negotiations, get quotations for Investment Committee approved projects, assist BD and Legal teams in the negotiation of PPAs /lease agreements, ensure resource availability and allocation, lead the initiation of wheeling projects and manage the initiation of captive projects.xc2xb7 IMPLEMENT THE PROJECTExecute EPC contracts, coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors, use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and measure project performance using appropriate systems, implement and monitor performance of wheeling projects and drive the implementation of captive projects.xc2xb7 CLOSE THE PROJECTOversee the commissioning of projects, facilitate the transition of wheeling projects into the operational phase, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and the project is integrated seamlessly with the national grid and ensure captive projects are fully operational upon handover, with all systems functioning as intended and delivering the expected energy outputs.Should you meet the minimum requirements for this position, please email your updated CV attached to , alternatively contact the team on XXX-XXXX or visit our website,Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
