In this role, youll play a key part in developing and enhancing industrial formulations and processescreating real-world solutions that drive quality, performance, and sustainability.Location: Roodepoort, GautengKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development of new industrial formulations and manufacturing processesImprove existing products to enhance performance, reduce costs, and promote sustainabilityCollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to bring lab innovations to full-scale productionConduct stability and performance testing of new and existing productsLiaise directly with clients to tailor chemical solutions to specific industrial requirementsPrepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external useManage and maintain the laboratory environment, ensuring optimal use of equipment, space, and materialsStay abreast of the latest industrial chemistry trends, technologies, and safety standardsEnsure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulationsQualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry (Masters or PhD advantageous)At least 37 years of hands-on R&D experience in an industrial chemistry setting ,open to graduates.Deep understanding of industrial chemical processes and manufacturing systemsProven experience in product development and process optimizationProficiency in laboratory equipment, testing methods, and chemical analysis toolsStrong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, technical writing, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsRequirementsValid South African IDValid Drivers License and reliable own vehicleClear medical and criminal recordStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent technical and report-writing skillsImportant NoteThis position is not suited for Food Scientists or Microbiologists.
