Job Description

Our client in the Medical Devices industry is currently looking for a Research Audiologist, in Pretoria, Gauteng.Responsibilities:

• Audiological research: design and implementation.
• Report writing and documentation.
• Fitment of hearing aids.
• Fine-tuning of hearing aid settings.
• Customer relations and relationship management.
• Working in a clinical environment and interacting with both clinical and non-clinical and academic colleagues.
• The development of research protocols and the management and organization of data (user studies)
• User and Clinical Studies: 60%.
• Conducting user and usability engineering studies, RETSPL studies, and clinical validation studies.
• Managing all aspects of the research study.
• Develop research strategies to understand user needs and continually test and improve the service.
• Designing, executing, and analysing surveys.
• Documenting and communicating user research findings.
• Preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Turning user research findings into valuable product and service features.
• Planning, conducting, and writing up of claims studies.
• Documentation: 25%.
• Assisting the Legal & Regulatory team with required documentation.
• Investigating clinical & regulatory requirements and providing feedback.
• Literature Reviews: 5%.
• Staying updated with new research and market research.
• Documenting and updating relevant literature.
• Adherence to QMS guidelines: 10%.
• Keeping all relevant supporting documents and processes relevant.

• M. Communication Pathology in Audiology (or studying towards)
• 2+ years of industry experience.

• R350 000 xe2x80x93 R450 000 per annum (including 13th cheque, pension and risk-benefit contribution)
• Hybrid after probation.
