Conduct primary and secondary research in the cross-border road transport environment/industry.
Conduct environmental scanning for key developments taking place at national, regional and international level that impact on the cross-border road transport industry (e.g. surveys and, or data gathering).
Analyse and interpret data.
Assist researchers with ad hoc assignments.
Perform administrative duties?.
Provide input into operational planning processes.
Participate in internal/external workshops.
?Technical CompetenciesKnowledge of the cross-border road transport environment.Analytical thinking.Knowledge of different computer software programmes (MS Word, Power-Point, Excel).Ability to communicate (written and oral) at operational level.Technical report writing and presentation skills.Data analysis skills.Stakeholder relations and management.Minimum formal qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
?Postgraduate degree (Honours or Masters) in Economics, Transport Economics, or any other related field.
