Job Description


  • The Research Technician assists with technical projects across the Institute including management of the project finance and risk management
  • The Research Technician assists with conducting technical projects activities.
  • The Research Technician assists with technology transfer initiatives in the institution.
  • Assisting with scientific research, Innovation, Commercialization and Project / Programme impact.
  • The Research Technician is responsible for assisting with safety, health and environment compliance and standards.
  • The Research Technician is responsible for Human capacity development which includes, Self and continuous learning
  • National Diploma or equivalent NQF6 in Agronomy, Crop or Plant Production, Agriculture or related field.
  • 2 years experience in a research environment.
  • Valid drivers license.
