A Reservations & GC&E Agent will serve as the main contact for room reservations at the hotel; and therefore, must offer an excellent service and influence the Guest decision to stay at the property.
What will I be doing?
As a Reservation & GC&E Agent, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation & GC&E Agent is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs. Specifically, a Reservations Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
xc2xb7 Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business
xc2xb7 Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads
xc2xb7 Identify sales leads, as appropriate
xc2xb7 Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest's expectation
xc2xb7 Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards
xc2xb7 Receive groups & events and keep up to date the hotel event output
xc2xb7 Draw up contracts for groups & events
xc2xb7 Insert rooming list in the system, update payment instructions and enter important information relevant to the group
xc2xb7 Negotiate budgets with customers
xc2xb7 Develop events Work Orders in the system with all relevant information
xc2xb7 Conduct instructional groups with all relevant information to the group (number of able, category, price, form of payment, contact the company, special notes, etc.)
xc2xb7 Perform monthly report groups and update closing information groups
xc2xb7 Interact permanently with the Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Reservations, Front Office, Department Parties, Food & Beverage, Kitchen
xc2xb7 Act directly with the guest or client during the stay of groups 7 events
xc2xb7 Participate in special activities such as secretaries of cocktails, welcome tour groups, etc.
xc2xb7 Ensure that all client requests are answered efficiently and with agility
