Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a significant urban roadworks project in the heart of the city. If you have 5+ years of site supervision experience and the necessary qualifications, we want to hear from you.What you'll do:
- Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to the roadworks project.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality control procedures, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, materials used, and progress milestones.
- A professional registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.), or Professional Technologist (Pr. Tech.) with ECSA
- Bachelor/ BSc or BTech degree in civil engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven site supervision experience, specifically in civil/urban roadworks projects.
- Extensive knowledge of road construction materials, methods, and best practices.
