Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to oversee the prestigious Msikaba River Bridge project in the Eastern Cape. - BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree.
- Registered Professional Engineer with ECSA or equivalent international registration.
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in contractual management, including claim evaluation.
- Strong understanding of modern project management techniques.
- Act as the primary contractual representative on-site.
- Manage contractual relationships with the Engineer, designers, and contractor.
- Implement and monitor the firms Quality Management System with a focus on contractual compliance.
- Oversee project program and budget from a contractual standpoint.
- Conduct claim evaluations, prepare variation orders, and manage site operations.
- Ensure compliance with targeted enterprise and labour utilization.
