Job SummaryHire Resolve's client, a leading engineering consultancy in Durban, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer specializing in Roads and Infrastructure projects.Responsibilities:

• Manage the successful implementation of road and infrastructure projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and standards
• Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and submit reports on project status, budget, and quality
• Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and other project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience in project management and construction supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
• Valid driver's license
