Job Description
Hire Resolve is working with a reputable engineering firm who is seeking a Resident Engineer specializing in Structures to join our team for a key infrastructure project in Durban.This role offers an opportunity to oversee and manage critical aspects of the N3-1 Paradise Valley - Mariannhill Toll Plaza project. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of this vital infrastructure development.Closing Date: 26 July 2024
Fixed Term: 3-5 year contractResponsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, and construction of structural projects
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Review and approve project plans, designs, and contracts
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays
- Prepare project reports and presentations for management
- B.Sc Eng / B.Eng / B.Tech Eng qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
- Minimum 20 years relevant bridge and structures experience on major road projects.
- SANRAL roads experience
