Resident Manager Luxury Safari Lodge
Limpopo, South Africa(Live-in position, offering a competitive salary and accommodation on-site.)A luxury safari lodge in Limpopo is seeking an experienced and hands-on Resident Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge. This role requires a hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury lodges or safari operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all departments.
• Lead and support the front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guiding teams to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Handle guest relations, including check-ins, special requests, and ensuring all needs are met.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to enhance overall performance and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee stock control, procurement, and supplier relations to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and F&B team to ensure an outstanding culinary experience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, including budget management, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Assist in marketing efforts, including guest retention strategies, promotions, and partnerships.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in lodge management, hospitality operations, or a similar role in a luxury safari lodge.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on approach to operations.
• Excellent guest relations and customer service abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, stock, and procurement.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, adapting to a dynamic lodge environment.
• Knowledge of hospitality software and reservation systems is an advantage.
• Passion for wildlife, conservation, and sustainable tourism.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
