Job Summary The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skill sets: xe2x80xa2 A proactive fundraiser who is skilled at identifying, researching, and engaging high-potential funding prospects, as well as building strong relationships that open doors to new opportunities. xe2x80xa2 A proven track record of securing funding or business in line with ambitious revenue targets - candidates must be able to demonstrate how their efforts contributed to meeting targets comparable to the LRC's current R50 million target. xe2x80xa2 3 - 5 years of relevant fundraising experience or a background in sales/marketing with transferable skills. xe2x80xa2 Experienced in managing the full funding application process, from opportunity alignment to developing and submitting high-quality concept notes, proposals, and budgets in collaboration with internal teams. xe2x80xa2 Proficient in coordinating donor reporting and overseeing grant closeout processes, ensuring compliance, timely submissions, and audit readiness. xe2x80xa2 Holds a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Sales & Marketing, Communication, BCom). xe2x80xa2 A demonstrated commitment to social justice and systemic change.
