The Restaurant Floor Manager will lead our team and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Key duties include, but not limited to:
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Monitor and maintain restaurant standards for food quality, cleanliness, and ambiance
Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and enhance customer satisfaction
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively
Responsible for stock control, including counts, ordering, production & variance reports
Responsible for stock purchasing, managing stock budget, and flow and working according to the budget
Oversee product orders, ensure timely deliveries, and manage supplier relationships
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on team development. A proven track record in restaurant or hospitality management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management is a plus
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager
Numeracy Proficiency
Computer Literate
Financial Acumen
Requirements:
Able to work retail store hours: weekends, evenings, holidays etc
Excel proficient
Clear Criminal Record
