As the first point of contact for guests, you will play an essential role in ensuring that every guest feels welcome, valued, and cared for during their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and maintain an organised, up-to-date seating chart. Coordinate the flow of guests and assign tables in accordance with service standards and guest preferences. Communicate effectively with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations during service. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and local attractions. Ensure the dining area is well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times. Monitor the waiting list and communicate estimated wait times clearly to guests. Provide support to restaurant staff, particularly during peak dining hours, to ensure an efficient and positive experience for guests. Handle guest feedback or concerns in a polite and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Requirements:

Previous restaurant experience in a hotel environment

is a must - this is a

non-negotiable

requirement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive and friendly attitude with a passion for customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions is a plus.
