Job Summary Our client based in George, Western Cape, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team.Requirements:
4 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
Retail experience will be an advantage
Great command of the English language
Driver's license and own transport
Excellent people skills
Passion for the hospitality industry
Innovative and proactive
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Food and Beverage knowledge- Full menu knowledge. Manage and oversee a kitchen.
Able to manage the ordering stock
Knowledge of stock quality.
POS knowledge, daily stock-takes and daily cash-up procedures.
Staff-ability to motivate waiters/waitresses.
Recognise the importance of customer satisfaction.
Attention To detail & lead by example.
Ability to handle guest complaints & build customer loyalty.
Ability to perform the duties of any member of staff on the floor in the event of short staffing or unforeseen circumstances.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Complete weekly & monthly stocktakes
Be honest, reliable, energetic and results driven.
Must be a peoples person, with excellent guest communication skills.
