Restaurant Outlet Manager- Hotel - Mbombela Description Committed, proactive, solutions focused individual. The Manager needs to promote and grow the business, manage service, wait/barstaff, and ensure that customers are receiving excellent experience. You will also manage inventory and resources, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed. You should be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. Individual should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently, should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills. Manager Responsibilities:
- Engaging with customers during shifts, ensuring they are receiving the highest level of service, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Uphold and encompass the brand.
- Responsible for all stock and cash.
- Overall management of the restaurant, ensuring all bar and floor supplier orders are placed in a timeously manner, ensuring stock is accounted for, inventory is completed, individuals are working efficiently and fulfilling their job roles.
- Training, reviewing and management of staff to provide excellent service to customers.
- Completing all administrative tasks in a timeously manner.
- Managing and directing all members of staff team to ensure they are fulfilling their job role
- Managing staff disciplinary
- Maintaining effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that taproom is well staffed during peak hours.
- Enforcing quality and safety controls.
- Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and customers.
- Diffusing tense situations between customers or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
- Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for customers.
- Report feedback to owners on a regular basis.
