Job Summary Restaurant Supervisor Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
Duties will include but not limited to
  • Restaurant operations day to day Answering phone / making bookings / assisting with general queries
  • Processing guest payments
  • Printing and handling of Restaurant accounts
  • Dealing with guest complaints
  • Managing a team of approximately 10 staff members
  • Delegating daily Restaurant duties for waiters - cleaning / setting tables / setup of function venues
  • Working on Semper POS system as well as reservations systems
Some shifts might have some elements of Reservations reception - checking in guests / checking out guests / assisting with queries * Previous experience in functions not a must but would give a large advantage
  • Assisting Restaurant Manager on duty with any additional tasks given
  • Willing to work shifts (morning OR afternoon shift)
  • Willing to work weekends / holidays
