Restaurant Supervisor/Barman - Kiara Lodge Clarens - Free StateKey Performance Areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with stock takes
- Responsible for opening & closing shift duties
- Handle guest complaints
- Ensure storerooms are clean & tidy
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Must have experience in Food & Beverage services
- Must be able to lead a team
- High level of communication skills - both written and verbal
- Must be computer literate
- Friendly, approachable with some form of client experience
- Ability to handle complaints in a courteous manner
- Previous bar experience will be an advantage
- Live out position
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Honest
- Dependable
