Our client is a fine dining restaurant located in Waterfront and is one of the oldest and most iconic eateries in the area. Its reputation extends beyond just being a restaurant as it is proudly a globally recognized tavern that provides a more sophisticated dining experience that boasts the freshest seafood and live music.Job Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.xc2xb7 Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and excellent service whilst handling a busy restaurantxc2xb7 Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.xc2xb7 Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.xc2xb7 Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.xc2xb7 Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.xc2xb7 Create and manage budgets, as well as track expenses and revenues.xc2xb7 Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities.xc2xb7 Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.Essential Qualifications:xc2xb7 Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role within the fine dining industryxc2xb7 Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.xc2xb7 Excellent communication skills.xc2xb7 Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.xc2xb7 Knowledge of restaurant management software.Desired Experience:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in hospitality management or related field is advantageous (Not essential)xc2xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management..xc2xb7 Experience in staff training and development.xc2xb7 Must have some fine dining experience.Salary & Benefits:The annual salary for this position is in Rand (R) and will be competitive based on experience and qualifications.
