:An exclusive homeware business is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Retail Area Manager to oversee a group of stores within Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Free State. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring operational efficiency, developing your team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.What you will do:

• Drive Sales: Achieve and exceed sales targets, implement effective sales strategies, and support store teams in reaching their goals.

• Lead Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, manage inventory, and continuously improve processes for maximum efficiency.

• Develop Your Team: Lead, coach, and motivate store staff, oversee recruitment, and ensure ongoing training and development.

• Elevate Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service, address escalated issues, and monitor customer feedback to drive improvements.

• Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and brand guidelines.

• Manage Finances: Develop and manage store budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability.

• Analyse and Report: Prepare regular performance reports, analyse data, and make informed decisions to improve store performance.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).

• 5+ years of retail management experience, including 2+ years' in a multi-unit leadership role.

• Proven track record of driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and team development.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in retail software, POS systems, and Excel

Please note: While the role is based in Gauteng, you'll be required to travel to retail stores in three provinces: Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Free-State. Before applying, please make sure that you are willing and able to travel to stores.Benefits
