Retail Leasing Consultant Manager

Our client is a prominent leader in the real estate sector, with a distinguished presence across Africa for over 50 years. They have maintained their industry leadership by offering comprehensive end-to-end services to tenants, corporates, property investors, and developers.To this end, they are seeking a Retail Leasing Consultant Manager to oversee a national account, with the primary responsibility of filling vacancies in centres and strip malls.You will be responsible for key tasks including preparing leasing applications, sourcing tenants, drafting capital expenditure documentation, canvassing, and negotiating leases. Additionally, you will need to complete relevant reports, meet budgeted occupancy goals, maintain relationships with brokers and tenants, and ensure compliance with all legal leasing practices.To be eligible for this position, you must have a matric certificate along with an appropriate tertiary qualification. Additionally, you need to possess an FFC and have at least 5 years of experience in the retail sector. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a leasing role is required, demonstrating a track record of growth and tenant sourcing. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.Kindly note only candidates residing in Johannesburg or Durban will be considered for this role.
