With an existing multi-billion-rand portfolio, this dynamic company manages all their assets in-house to ensure their tenants receive A-grade services. To continue their achievements of net zero buildings, high tenant retention and international expansion, they are looking for a Retail Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for a unique portfolio of tenants.To ensure the optimal financial performance of your portfolio, people management will be the forefront of your day to day, engaging with different stakeholders including tenants, vendors and your team of property professionals supporting your portfolio with regard to leasing, facilities management and administration. Financial acumen is essential to understand and run your portfolio, managing budgets, forecasts, arrears and utilities management. Additionally, you will be championing the leasing function by using your knowledge of the property landscape to put together leasing strategies as well as carrying out effective leasing operations to ensure smooth tenant installations, good tenant relationships and low vacancies. At the heart of ensuring tenant satisfaction, you will maintain optimal building standards through managing maintenance teams, capex, developments, and redevelopments.The successful incumbent will have at least 8 years' experience within a retail property/portfolio management role and a tertiary qualification in Property, Finance, Business Administration or any related field. Experience with rural retail and government tenants will secure.
